Reports suspect that Garcia maybe a member of the 4 year old’s family, since the alleged incident did not occur at school. The girl’s father said that after receiving the letter from the school they began putting two and two together.

According to authorities Garcia taught at the Orange Grove Head Start, which is a state run education program for children of low income families.

School Teacher

The teacher has been identified as Dominic John Witter, age 25, who is an English teacher at Crean Lutheran High School. Orange County Sheriff’s officials said, Witter was arrested and booked into the Men’s Central Jail Thursday night. Witter is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department said that Witter was arrested after the mother of a 15 year old student reported to police her daughter was receiving text messages from the teacher.

Orange County Officials said that Witter was taken into custody on Thursday in a sting, by the Orange County Child Exploitation Task Force, when he expected to meet the teenager at a pizza restaurant in Laguna Hills. Orange County authorities said that Witter sent the girl nude photos of himself and asked her to send him photos of her.

The Crean Lutheran High School said that Witter was in his second year at the private school and was an English teacher, the head coach of the boys soccer team and assistant coach for the football and track and field teams. The high school officials in a statement posted Friday said April 5th the Orange County Sheriff’s Department and the Irvine Police Department informed them that staff member Mr. Dominic Witter was arrested, for inappropriate communication with a female student and possibly a second female student. The Statement written by Pastor Bill Bartlett said that Witter was placed on immediate leave. I wonder if these folks are going to hire a Irvine school teacher abuse attorney?

Jeter and Craig have been booked on suspicion of kidnapping, torture, child abuse and conspiracy. According to authorities a 13 year old boy’s mother took him to a men’s group home on March 18th, the Heart of Worship Ministry that Remmers heads. Capt. Jerry Rodriguez said the teen boy was taken to Remmer’s home, where pliers were allegedly used to pinch him. He was then transported to Barstow, where the men are alleged to have beaten the teen with a shovel and made him dig a grave, threatened with death and then half buried.

Authorities say the 13 year old did not require being hospitalized and he, along with his 7 year old sister have been placed in protective custody. Remmer’s and his two accomplices are each being held in lieu of $1 million bail.

McFarland, known as “First Sgt. Mac,” pleaded not guilty on Wednesday to five felony assault counts of two 14 year old girls in December of 2004. McFarland is currently being held on $275,000 bail on the sexual assault charges and faces up to 15 years in state prison if convicted.
McFarland has been charged in an unrelated case that alleges he abused children at Sarge’s Community Base/ Commit II Achieve Boot Camp.

He was also arrested in May 2011 for allegedly handcuffing a truant Pasadena Unified high school student and charged with suspicion of kidnapping, child abuse, false imprisonment, the unlawful use of a badge and extortion. McFarland allegedly attempted to extort money from the teen’s family. The sexual abuse pretrial hearing is scheduled for April 11th. Boot Camp Operator Charged with Sexual Assault of Teens.

Lyons pled guilty in a plea agreement with prosecutors and answered yes, when asked by Superior Court Judge Francisco Briseno’s questions about the plea agreement. Lyons will be sentenced May 25th, to one year in prison and five years on probation, along with registering as a lifetime sex offender.

According to Deputy District Attorney Heather Brown, the plea agreement was used, rather than going through a publicized trial, which the victim’s wished to avoid. Deputy D.A. Brown said Lyon’s who has been out of jail on bail. She said the molestation occurred from January 1992 and December 1995, in Costa Mesa at the St. John the Baptist Catholic School.

Prosecutors said that the molestation occurred in the rectory and sacristy adjoining the church, while the boy was in the second and third grade. According to officials the Diocese of Orange paid over $4 million to settle sexual molestation lawsuits that involved Lyons. The most recent settlement was in February of 2009 against Lyons, with the amount not disclosed.

According to the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, Joelle Castiex the western regional directors, said the victims of Lyon’s have been traumatized and are reluctant to go to court. He said he believes it is time that Lyons sees the inside of a jail cell.

The teacher identified as Ted Nishihara was arrested after a mother of a girl reported that her daughter said her teacher had touched her in a sexual manner during class. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s officials said that detectives interviewed staff members and teachers at Los Coyotes Middle School on Monday. They later arrested Nishihara on suspicion of lewd acts on a child at his home, after interviewing him. According to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, Nishihara was booked at the Cerritos sheriff’s station and his bail is $200,000.

Sheriff’s detectives are looking for additional victims or witnesses and stated Nishihara had worked at the ABC Unified School District in Cerritos, the Garden Grove Unified as a substitute. He also worked for the Long Beach Unified as an instructional aide.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Peter Gomez the investigation involves the alleged inappropriate sexual behavior of the male teacher, with female students. The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department said that the Compton School District and the staff at the Davis Middle

School have offered their full cooperation and support in the continuing investigation of sexual misconduct by one of the male teachers. This adds to the number of Southern California teachers to be alleged of sexual misconduct, according to officials. There has been no comment reported by the Compton School District officials or the Davis Middle School officials.

A spokesman for the non-profit education group that oversees the school Cortez was taken into custody last week on Wednesday. Montebello Police Chief Kevin McClure said that Cortez was arrested after police interviewed two teenage male students. Cortez allegedly had sexual relationships with the two teens in recent years, Chief McClure said.

According to Partnership for Los Angeles Schools, Patrick Sinclair, Cortez was immediately removed from her class room, the Law and Government Academy located at Roosevelt High School on February 15th. He said that parents would receive automated telephone calls in both English and Spanish informing them of the incident and a letter will also be sent to their homes.

According to the Montebello police one of the students came forward, after Cortez broke off the relationship and during their investigation they found there was a second teenager that was allegedly involved in a sexual relationship with the 42 year old teacher. Montebello police said investigators are continuing to look into the case and believe there could be more victims. They will be presenting their evidence to prosecutors on Thursday.

Cortez was booked into the Montebello City Jail on suspicion of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and is free on $140,000 in bail.

According to prosecutors Ricardo Aldana age 37 was arrested by sheriff’s deputies in San Juan Capistrano. Aldana was arrested on suspicion of having unlawful sex with a 14 year old girl.
Prosecutors said that Aldana was a Spanish teacher and boys soccer coach at the time of the incident at Junipero Serra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano. He allegedly spoke on the phone and text messaged with the girl frequently, beginning when she was 13 and when alone in the classroom would massage her shoulders.

Allegedly Aldana picked the girl up, while her mother was out of town and took her to his Dana Point home and snuck her past his roommates and engaged in sexual acts with her. According to Orange County Sheriff’s detectives they were alerted to the incident by an instructor at an out-of-state honors academic camp that said he overheard statements by the victim students.

Aldana remains free after posting $100,000 bail and will be arraigned Monday.

Sheriff’s officials say that the arrest of Brandt occurred at his home in Torrance after a yearlong investigation. Brandt a third grade teacher for 30 years came under investigation when he turned in a roll of 35-mm film to be processed at CVS in Redondo Beach in October 2010. The employee processing the film found over 40 pictures of children in a classroom that had blindfolds on and tape over their mouths. The employee notified police as required by California Law, which began the investigation.

According to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Carlos Marquez of the Special Victims Bureau, some of the photos showed Berndt with his hands over children’s mouths or his arm around them. Lt. Marquez said that it has been determined that the children were given semen on a spoon or on a cookie. If true, this is a sick puppy. A teacher making kids eat semen. In the garbage container from the classroom authorities found a blue plastic spoon that has tested positive for semen. The semen was tested and is a DNA match to Berndt.

Lt. Marquez stated that none of the photos show the children eating the semen, but children that have been interviewed have said they didn’t like the taste. Photos were also found with large, live Madagascar type cockroaches on their face and mouths, according to the sheriff’s department. According to sheriff’s detectives, during a search of Brendt’s Torrance home they found at least 100 other pictures that were similar to the ones from CVS. Later they found an additional 250 photographs from a film processing store. They also recovered a DVD with sexual bondage that was similar to the bondage pictures of the children.

In total, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Special Victims Unit there have been 390 photos recovered and 26 children in the photos have been identified. There remains approximately 10 children not identified yet. According to LAUSD Superintendent John Deasy in a statement said, the school district is fully cooperating with the investigation. Deasy said he was notified January 7, 2011 of the investigation and Mark Berndt was immediately removed from the school that day. Deasy said the next meeting of the Los Angeles Board of Education after they were aware of the investigation, approved the termination of Berndt. The superintendant said the was horrified and sickened by the allegations against Berndt. Deasy stated that crisis counseling has been provided to the victims and their families for over a year.
